Knees hurting?
Avoiding movement can actually make pain worse 😔
The right type of movement can be extremely beneficial both for knee stiffness and knee pain ☝🏽
Here are some suggested movements in order of easiest to most difficult or advanced:
1️⃣ Seated kicks: working on straightening the knee the best that you can with each kick, 20-30 alternating
2️⃣ Standing knee bends: alternate bring your heel to your bottom focusing on knee bending and putting full weight through one leg, 10-20 alternating
3️⃣ Deadlift: weights stayed hugged to your legs, slide them down to the knee, knees relaxed and pushing hips back, 8-15 depending on weight
4️⃣ Kettlebell swing: power is extremely important for stairs and hills. Generate power through the hips and let your arms float the kettlebell or weight up. 10-20 times depending on weight
5️⃣ Press out squats: this forces you to put more weight through your heels and hips, sit down in a controlled fashion, 8-15 repetitions
This is not an exhaustive list and are simple suggestions. The main thing to focus on is what feels best for you ✅
