Dr. Peter Rimensberger is the head of the Pediatric and Neonatal ICU at the University Hospital of Geneva, in Switzerland. His research interests include clinical physiology with particular emphasis on mechanical ventilation in acute lung disease in infants and children. He has published over 70 scientific papers, which largely focus on different aspects of mechanical ventilation, including lung recruitment and protective strategies, treatment strategies for pulmonary hypertension, and other aspects of pediatric and neonatal intensive care.
