For the past five years, Winona's Hemp and our community have been focused on trying to develop the fiber hemp varieties and fiber hemp value added. And so in our work, we've been working on developing these varieties, growing them out in our northern fields. This last year, we had 20 acres of hemp that we put up on the White Earth Reservation. We harvested it and we brought it in and we began decorticating it. We brought our decorticator from China. And thus far our field herd has created a very good value added hemp variety.

That's to say that everybody knows that hemp has 50,000 uses. And anything you can do with oil, you could also do with hemp. See this this is very high quality hemp herd, which is what they use for Hempcrete. And we are trying to figure out, is this hemp herd came by this equipment, this one? Yes, that's why it's here.

However, if you were going to make a house, you might want more herd and more equipment.

So we're trying to understand the difference between these processes and this is all naturally done. This here in China, it done with chemicals. And what we're interested in is recreating an organic fiber hemp industry.

This land is good land for all kinds of food, and we're proud to work with tribes throughout our region as we look to developing an intertribal hemp collaborative intertribal hemp cooperative where native people can be at the front of the next economy. That's the New Green Revolution. Miigwech
